MISS WORLD 2014 FEATURE : Our Fave Beauties with a Purpose

Last week Miss World Organization has released the shortlist of 10 beautiful contenders for this year Beauty with a Purpose title. And while the final say will belong to the actual judges, here we try to put ourselves in their shoes and pick our personal fave Beauties with a Purpose. After some deliberation, here are the countdown of our fave Beauties with a Purpose for 2014!

Our fifth fave Beauty with a Purpose is BRAZIL – Julia Gama

Our fourth fave Beauty with a Purpose is GUYANA – Rafieya Husain

Our third fave Beauty with a Purpose is PHILIPPINES – Valerie Weigmann

Our second fave Beauty with a Purpose is INDIA – Koyal Rana

And now it is time to meet the top of our choice, the ultimate one, which is …

Our ultimate fave Beauty with a Purpose is INDONESIA – Maria Sastrayu Rahajeng

Nationalistic aside, we objectively think that Indonesia deserves this one. First the “build the bridge” project is aimed not for a short term ephemeral effect but a much longer and sustainable one. Second it is done as a community effort. From the funding to the construction of the project, the rich and the poor, the old and the young, the men and the women were involved. And ultimately the bridge constructed in this project could potentially change up the lives of many people in the area and open up a new and brighter opportunity for the future generations. All these considered factors sum up our reason in selecting this project as our fave one.
