In about a week from now, one very lucky girl will win the most coveted crown in the world of pageantry, the blue crown of Miss World. But how exactly the winner will be decided? For newbie fans and first time followers of Miss World pageant, here is the judging process of Miss World 2014, as explained on its official website.
To win Miss World you must score the highest points, awarded for a range of activities and events which take place from the moment the contestants arrive at the competition. Six challenge events take place in the run up to the final, Beach Fashion, Beauty with a Purpose, Multimedia, Sports, Talent, and Top Model. These offer the chance for the contestants to shine, giving them the opportunity to win important points.
The Miss World Final recaps the events of the previous weeks, sees the final scores being added together before the final few contestants are whittled down through a series of questions and interviews. The Miss World Peoples Choice vote is announced after the polls close, with the winner, if not already selected, taking her place in the final line up!
After the judges have their final round of deliberating, and the scores are all toted up, THE WINNER of Miss World 2014 will then be announced!
